We don't need to use the inconvenient heavy garden umbrellas, which need a solid and stable base, so they don't flip over all the time, and they provide the shade only within a limited area. In summer, we really like spending time outdoors, but when a balcony or a terrace are in a very sunny place, it is simply impossible during a day because of a high temperature. The shade guaranteed by an awning allows to make the most of a beautiful weather. Furthermore, a shadowed balcony or terrace will automatically lower the indoor temperature.

The awnings are a very durable product. The materials are acrylic fabrics, acrylic waterproof fabrics and PVC coated polyester fabrics, and the structure is made of a special aluminium alloy. So the material of the roller blind is resistant to sunlight or even light rain (you only need to remember to dry it thoroughly before rolling it up). During the season, you can regularly clean the fabric from dust, leaves, etc. or just wipe it with a brush on a long stick; after the season, you can take it off and wash with a sponge soaked in water and mild detergent. We dry the fabric and put it on again.

We can easily install the awning on our own, except those of a large surface area. We fix them to a building wall, from the bottom of a balcony or to a roof rafter. And it's worth remembering here to invest in an awning whose fabric is closed in a cassette. The cassette protects the fabric from soaking also when folded. An exception may be the installation under a balcony, where the fabric is relatively well shielded. Its operation is very easy - you roll up/unroll up the material using a special rod. If you install a larger awning, you should remember of an electric drive.
