Day/night blinds in stylish interiors

« Back to blog

The design of the windows is most often matched to the style in which the interior is to be arranged and to their colors. When making a choice, we think not only about the aesthetics of the overall appearance, but also about the functionality of the covers. They should not only look beautiful, but also effectively protect the interior from the sun, and thus heat up, and provide intimacy to the residents.

Currently, the offer of covers is so diverse that you can easily find the one that best suits your taste, and at the same time effectively reduces the inflow of sunlight. One of the most modern types of blinds, distinguished by their original design, are modern day and night blinds. They have gained recognition of people who value stylish interiors; people who are looking for practical and functional solutions, but also appreciate the attractive appearance of the home space.

Pros of day and night blinds
The most important thing about the day / night roller blinds is their original appearance. They are designed in alternating stripes. The stripes form two layers of fabric; one layer is made of transparent / translucent material and the other is opaque material. The whole thing looks very original, both inside and seen from the outside. The roller shutter mechanism allows us to move the layers of material relative to each other and position them in any way, depending on the time of day, the direction of the windows, the intensity of the sun, etc.

In this way, when the sun shines intensely during the day, we set the material fully covering. In this way, the house is shaded and the temperature is pleasant. As time passes, when the sun stops shining strongly or when it changes its position, we can gradually reveal a layer of transparent stripes, brightening the interior. On cloudy days or in the evening, the roller blind can be set so that only transparent material is visible. Inside, it will be bright, but it will remain invisible from the outside.

The advantage of day / night roller blinds is certainly easy installation. In the Knall online store, we offer three options: installation on the window frame (roller blind without a cassette), installation in the glass light (roller shutter in a cassette) and installation on the wall / ceiling (roller shutter in a semi-cassette). All covers are made to measure and can be adjusted to the size of the window. Thanks to this, we are sure that they will fit nicely into the window and can be easily installed throughout the house, even in windows with non-standard dimensions. The whole thing will look consistent and stylish.

Aesthetics of day and night blinds
Customized zebra day and night blinds will work in any room; a stylish living room, elegant kitchen, cozy bedroom or a colorful child's room. Their appearance will successfully complement interiors arranged in various styles, and the color offer will allow them to match the arrangement of rooms. In addition, in the group of day / night roller blinds, various types of fabrics are available, including a black out fabric, which will be perfect for e.g. a bedroom.

In order for the day / night blinds to retain their aesthetics, you can regularly clean them from dust using a dry brush or a vacuum cleaner using a soft brush, which is included in each set (the power of the vacuum cleaner is set to the minimum). From time to time, we can clean the material by wiping it with a damp sponge or a soft cloth.
