Pleated blinds are a modern idea for covering windows. They are distinguished mainly by two advantages: the possibility of setting pleats in any part of the window - top, bottom, middle, and the versatility and ease of installation - windows with unusual shapes, e.g. arches, large window spaces, roof windows, winter gardens, etc.

These advantages fit perfectly into the fashion for large glazing in apartments or houses; we provide privacy with a nice lighting of the rooms at the same time.

Pleated blinds - what to pay attention to

We already know the advantages of pleated blinds - versatility and modernity, easy installation, wide arrangement possibilities. When making a choice, however, you must also remember about some important issues, which may not be typical defects, but must be taken into account before the final purchase decision.

The price is mentioned here, pleated blinds are more expensive than classic solutions, and the need to have a certain skill when we want to wash them - we do it with water and a mild detergent. However, standard care for keeping pleated blinds clean is not difficult at all; they can be wiped with a damp cloth and this is completely enough to keep their appearance aesthetic and tasteful, especially since we have antistatic materials at our disposal that prevent the deposition of dirt on the fabric of the blinds.
