More »With Easter steadily approaching, now is the perfect moment to consider how we'll decorate our interiors to enhance the festive ambiance. Easter heralds the arrival of a warmer spring; the environment becomes vibrant, bursting with vivid colors. For Easter 2019, expect some fresh twists on the traditional decoration colors, promising an even brighter and cheerful atmosphere.
During the festive season, homes are bustling with activity from family gatherings. The essence of this festivity is often captured by the dining table, where family and friends convene. But that's not the only focus. We shouldn't overlook the importance of window decor, especially given the modern trend of expansive window spaces. A well-set table accompanied by window and windowsill decorations can effortlessly evoke the unique Easter mood.
For Easter window decorations, nature is our primary muse. Fresh flowers like tulips, daffodils, and narcissi take center stage. For those living in detached houses, these floral arrangements can also adorn the external windowsills. Flowers, either freshly cut and placed in vibrant vases or potted, can set the mood. Many stores and florists provide potted flowers in delightful Easter-themed containers shaped like eggs or bunnies. Another must-have is the watercress. Available for purchase or for those with a green thumb, planting it just 4 days before Easter will ensure a lush green addition to your windowsill.
Easter symbols, of course, play a significant role. Think window hangers or reeds on windowsills featuring colorful eggs, yellow chicks, and beige bunnies. Green elements, whether watercress, moss, or fresh flowers, are typically integrated into these arrangements. The flowers are often set on special sponges to prevent wilting. There's a wide variety of decorative reeds available in different sizes and styles. Alternatively, crafting your own arrangement using wicker, twigs, and adding Easter-themed decorations like paper-made chicks and bunnies is a creative option.
As for colors, the classics are yellow, green, and white. However, this year's Easter decorations introduce new hues: pastel pink, lavender violet, mint green, with touches of gray and even black. These colors might manifest in details like ribbons or the shades of Easter eggs.
We extend our warmest Easter wishes to all our customers. May your Easter eggs be vibrant, your Easter Monday be joyous, and your windows be adorned with the most exquisite decorations.
Warm regards,
The Knall Team
